Dr. Harsh Vankawala is a caring dentist known to his patients as Dr. H or Dr. Hershey. He is fluent in English, Hindi, and Gujarati. Dr. Vankawala has a clinical interest in root canals, restorations, and oral surgery. Root canals are more than just procedures to Dr. Vankawala; they focus on saving teeth and relieving pain. Restorations, whether it’s a crown or cosmetic filling, help restore both function and aesthetics, and he finds it especially rewarding to see patients smile confidently after treatment. Surgery, from extracting decayed teeth to removing wisdom teeth, presents challenges that motivate him to make procedures as comfortable as possible for his patients.

He is committed to providing patient-centered care, taking the time to listen and communicate clearly so patients feel informed and at ease throughout their treatment. Dr. Vankawala has a particular interest in supporting anxious patients and strives to create a calm and reassuring environment during visits.

Dr. Vankawala’s journey from India to Canada in 2013 was filled with education and adventure, supported by his close-knit family. Beyond dentistry, he is a trained meditator, a PADI-certified diver, an avid reader, and a music enthusiast. He enjoys outdoor activities like running and swimming and cherishes time with his wife, who works in architecture.
