The technology we use at Tuscany Dental Centre helps us to plan effective treatments and ensure your dental appointments run smoothly. Since we can display digital x-rays and scans on monitors in our treatment rooms, we're able to show you any issues in your mouth and walk you through your treatment plan.

Digital X-Rays

Instead of traditional photographic x-ray film, digital x-rays use digital sensors to produce extremely detailed computer images of the teeth and gums, in addition to other oral structures and conditions. This allows your dentist to examine parts of your mouth not visible to the naked eye.

Panoramic X-Rays

Using panoramic x-rays, your dentist creates a single flat image of your entire mouth. This image represents your teeth, temporomandibular joints (TMJ), upper and lower jaws, and sinus and nasal structures. Panoramic x-rays are typically used to help plan treatments for braces, extractions, and dentures.

Soft Tissue Dental Lasers

Lasers are extremely focused light beams, typically used in a range of soft tissue procedures for healing and repair purposes.

They assist our dentists in completing dental procedures such as reshaping gums, treating periodontal disease, or lengthening crowns while reducing pain, and the need for medical intervention.

iTero Digital Scanner

iTero is an intraoral digital scanner that is used to capture 3D dental images of the hard and soft tissues of your mouth.

iTero scans assist our dental team in creating dental models that are typically used for a variety of restorative dental services including dental veneers, crowns, and Invisalign.
