Your First Visit

To simplify your first visit, please fill out our New Patient Form* online prior to your appointment or arrive 10 minutes early to fill it out in office.  New Patient Form

*IMPORTANT: Any form submitted by email must be encrypted, to ensure it is secure. By submitting an unencrypted email form, you are consenting to an unsecured email. Alternatively, please print off the form, complete it, and bring it to our office.

Initial Examination

To start, your dentist will review your medical and dental history and complete a comprehensive dental exam. This will include a detailed examination of your gums, teeth, bite and jaw, any required x-rays and an oral cancer screening. 

Treatment Plan

Based on your exam and history, your dentist will create a long-term dental treatment plan for you. There will also be time to ask any questions you have about your dental health and treatment options.

Insurance & Financing

At Tuscany Dental Centre, we'll help you navigate our options for payment, direct billing to insurance companies and financing so you can focus on getting the dental care you need.

• Direct Billing to Insurance

  For your convenience, we offer direct billing for most insurance plans. We can submit your insurance claim electronically, resulting in faster reimbursement without the requirement for signatures and paper forms. 

  Our administrative team can help you to understand your insurance plan better and can also send estimates to your insurance company prior to starting any major treatments. 

  Please bring your insurance plan information to your appointment.

• Financing Through Dentalcard

  Tuscany Dental Centre offers financing options through Dentalcard to help you manage your dental payments at an affordable and comfortable pace.

  STEP 1  Apply Online 
  Get an approval decision almost immediately. Many patients receive an approval while still at the dentist's office. Request financing for a portion or the complete procedure or purchase.

  STEP 2  Receive The Decision
  Dentalcard will let you know the credit decision by phone. Sign required documents, along with a void cheque and return to Dentalcard.
  
  STEP 3  Dentalcard remits payment to your dentist
  Your chequing account will be electronically debited on a monthly basis for your payment.

• Payment Methods

  Any co-pays or amounts not covered by insurance are your responsibility, and must be paid at the time of your appointment.

  We accept payment by cash, cheque, debit or most major credit cards.

• How can I book an appointment?

  Please contact our office during our regular business hours to book an appointment at Tuscany Dental Centre.

• How do I cancel or reschedule an appointment?

  To cancel or reschedule an appointment, please call us. Please let us know about any change of plans as soon as possible, so we can the space in our schedule can be offered to another patient.

• Do you offer appointment reminders?

  In the days before your appointment, you will receive automated phone appointment reminders from us. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please call us as soon as possible to let us know.

• Does your clinic have on-site parking?

  Yes, all our patients can use our free on-site parking. We are also easily accessible by public transit.
